Review at Booking.com
On 19 July we received quite a negative review on our page at Booking.com. This is the original message in Spanish:
" No limpiaron la habitacion, llegamos un viernes y el sabado solo hicieron la cama, ni limpiaron, ni hicieron el baño y el domingo nada de nada."
It says that the room has not been cleaned during their stay. They arrived Friday, Saturday only the bed was done, neither it has been cleaned nor has the bathroom been cleaned. On Sunday nothing at all has been cleaned.
We seriously do not know how this has happened. Maybe the guests were in the room all day and we could not clean it, maybe there was another reason. We do not know. We just want to emphasize that we do thoroughly clean our rooms on a daily basis during your stay. Towels are changed on request and bed linen is changed every three days. Apparently this went wrong with these guests.

Stop the presses
There's still news coming from Trouw (Wibautstraat 127, www.trouwamsterdam.nl ), a temporary restaurant and club in a former newspaper printing warehouse in east Amsterdam, but these days the news has more to do with cocktails, cuisine and art. The place is now a sleek backdrop for a young crowd who read their news on iPads. On summer evenings the terrace is packed with late-night revelers. Source: New York Times, April 17, 2011
