Preparations for tomorrow's inauguration.

At Amsterdam's Dam square the world's press has gathered to cover the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander tomorrow.

Dam square is looking very festive already and dozens of camera crews are making their reports.

In the Royal Palace and the New Church the final rehearsal has taken place in the presence of Prince Willem-Alexander, Princess Maxima, their children and the Queen.

Have a look at some pictures that I took earlier today at our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/bblafesta

New review on Tripadvisor

Today we received a new review on our Tripadvisor page:

"I loved it You will too

Only stayed 4 nights first part of April and wished we could have stayed for the month. This little gem is in the prefect location. just a few blocks from Anne Frank House and a short walk to Dam Square. The owner Aydin did everything to make our stay perfect.
We stayed in the unit that had the kitchen and a small patio. If you travel you know how expensive your meals can get. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a fantastic meal and a dishwasher to clean up the mess. We arrived at 10AM and the room was not ready so Aydin helped us plan a tour of the city and when we returned we found our luggage up stairs in the room. The grocery store was just a half block away and it was fun to try new foods. For 28 euros we were able to make 4 breakfasts and 4 dinners as well as have drinks. There is the best coffee maker in the room and the self contained packets were provided by Aydin. On our last night I could not set my phone alarm for 6:30 AM the next day so Aydin gave me his phone and said to just leave it in the room. We also saved money by taking his advise to use the bus to the airport...Just a block away and easy to get to even for us seniors. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the owner made us feel as if we were relatives that came for a visit. BIG HUGS when we said our good by. Making plans to go back soon."
